About My Program

At Goldpeak Dobermans, quantity is never the focus. I only produce one or two litters a year and most puppies are spoken for prior to being born. My goal first and foremost is to produce sound minded, conformationally correct, healthy dogs with longevity behind them.

All of my dogs are thoroughly health tested prior to ever being bred and never before the age of 2. This includes OFA Hips/Elbows, annual thyroid, eyes, and echocardiograms and Holter monitor.

All of my puppies are raised in home with my family. My children are involved in their life from day one. Puppies are exposed to the hustle and bustle of everyday life from the very beginning. Children crying, sirens singing, tv blaring, the vacuum... Before you get your puppy, it will be exposed to almost everything you can think of. I aim to provide you with a confident companion, not a nervous wreck.

I do not pair just any female with any male, or slap any two dogs together. I plan my litters ahead with a purpose in mind. Going forward in 2026, my aim is to be more competitive in the AKC show ring, and that is what my puppies will reflect. I do not breed Z factored dogs, albinos or melanistics. I do not breed for over sized dogs, colors or trends. I am always trying to improve my program and have washed several dogs because they did not meet the standard.

Our puppy families are very important to me. I love to stay updated and involved and offer any help/knowledge that I can. I have a private facebook group just for families to share about their puppies and to stay in touch. As a breeder, my puppies are a lifelong commitment and always want to be apart of their journey.

July

At the end of the month we will be heading to Salem, VA for 3 days with Peppa and Lotus! Hopeful to get some points for Peppa and try Fast Cat for the first time with her! Lotus will earn her DCAT and will have an updated echocardiogram and then complete her holter.

Lotus has earned her DCAT and had a normal echocardiogram and auscultation! Will submit to OFA once her holter is completed.

August

Keena is due to be bred first week of August! We're so excited. I'm looking for serious show homes who may be interested in one of these puppies or a Junior handler to work with!
