About Us
Welcome to Goldpeak Dobermans, a premier Doberman breeder servicing the WV, OH, PA, VA, NC, SC, and surrounding regions. I have provided families across the entire United States with excellent Doberman Puppies. My passion for the Doberman breed translates into a commitment to excellence in breeding. As a dedicated small volume hobby breeder, I focus on raising puppies who embody the breed’s intelligence, conformation, and elegance, all while ensuring they grow up in a loving and nurturing environment. When our puppies leave our home and enter yours, they have been started on training, vetted, and loved.
Each Doberman we breed is raised in our home, not a facility or kennel. They become an integral part of our daily lives. Our close-knit environment ensures that every puppy receives the love, attention, and socialization they need to grow into confident and well-adjusted adults. From the moment they are born, our puppies are treated as cherished family members. They are socialized with children, other pets, and exposed to various experiences to ensure they are well-rounded and adaptable.
We ensure all of our dogs undergo thorough screening before breeding. They are not bred until they have reached full maturity at 2 years of age and must pass their OFA clearances. We only consider breeding our females when they are in peak health, and we do not breed them past the age of 5, with a maximum of 2-3 litters in their lifetime. Each litter is carefully planned! All of our dogs live indoors with us and receive the highest level of care and attention.
We compete a few times a year in the Conformation Show Ring. I have started in iABCA to receive more hands-on experience. We have big goals of stepping into AKC & UKC Events in 2025.
In addition to conformation showing, our Dobermans enjoy Scent work, Fast Cat, CAT and learning Tricks. Our dogs and puppies GO! They go boating, hiking, road tripping, trail riding with our horses, you name it, they are with us!
My program's only focus is quality, NOT quantity. I am slowly adding more proven lines but still focusing on diversity and health. At the end of the day, I breed for myself and MY goals, I do not breed for other breeders, I do not breed for trends, I breed for my expectations.
