The guardian home system is often used to ensure that their breeding dogs are raised in a family environment and get the socialization, attention, and one on one care. The puppy/dog is placed with a family where it will live as a beloved pet, while still being part of the breeder's program.
Here’s how it works in a typical guardian home arrangement:
After the dog’s breeding career ends (typically after a few litters,) the dog is spayed or neutered and stays with the guardian family as their pet for life and the ownership is signed over to the family.
This arrangement benefits us and the dog by helping maintain a comfortable home life, that is still more one on one for the dog. For the guardian family, it’s a way to be part of a responsible breeding program without having to take on the full responsibility of breeding, cost and care.
To be considered for our Guardian Program, we do have a few requirements.
Understand that we are waiving the purchase price of the dog in exchange for a service; you must be willing to communicate, cooperate and coordinate with us during their time in our program, and be dedicated to providing a safe, loving home for the lifetime of the dog.
If you are interested in this unique opportunity, please message us. We will be looking for a home for a male/female Fall 2025.
